I-Flow Verifuse Infusion Pumps

   I-Flow Verifuse infusion pumps, formerly made by Block Medical, include the Verifuse, the Verifuse Plus, and the Verifuse VIP.  The pumps are programmed through a Windows-compatible software available from I-Flow; a barcode is produced after programming that can be read by a barcode scanner on the side of each pump which automatically loads the program.  The pumps are applicable for intravenous, intrarterial, subcutaneous, and epidural infusions, and are capable of multiple therapies, including continuous, intermittent, PCA, and TPN infusion.  A modem/communicator unit is also available which allows programs to be entered or edited from a remote location.

The Verifuse Plus differs from the earlier Verifuse by its redesigned, more user-friendly keypad (along with some minor internal software improvements).  The Verifuse VIP includes an On/Off Switch (the other two pumps automatically turn on when the batteries are inserted).  The pumps run on two 9-volt batteries, on the AC Adapter, or on the rechargeable NiCad batteries sent as standard accessories.
