Med Spec One Infusion Pump
The Med Spec One is a linear peristaltic positive-pressure pump manufactured by Sigma for Medical Specialties. It is identical in features and appearance, aside from the color and face-plate labels, to the Sigma 6000+ Programmable Pump, except that it will only accept Medical Specialties MED SPEC ONE infusion sets (see list below). Because of these sets, it is rated at ± 6% accuracy rather than ± 5% of the comparable Sigma pump.

The MED SPEC ONE offers both a primary and secondary infusion mode, in addition to a 12-step sequential rate and volume programming feature which allows stepped delivery of TPN and antibiotic infusion. The pump can also be programmed for maximum and minimum rates or volumes, or mandatory drop sensor, if required by the customer. Keypad lockout is available.

Use of the optional drop sensor in the program mode will disable the in-pump ultrasonic air-in-line detection system, useful for customers experiencing nuisance air alarms because of a frothy solution or "champagning" of air bubbles.

The pump has a 3-hour memory after power-off in Primary Mode, and a Permanent memory in the Program Mode.
