Graseby (Infusaid) MS26, MS16A Syringe Pumps
Extremely popular small-volume syringe pumps, the Graseby MS16A and Graseby MS26 were discontinued after the company was aquired by Sims Deltec and for a number of months in 1999 were not available. Due to popular demand, Sims Deltec was forced to allow the manufacture of Graseby pumps to continue in late 1999, and the pumps are now available again.
Features: Continuous intravenous or subcutaneous infusion rates with manual bolus doses. Water-resistant plastic case. Very small, can be worn in belt or shoulder holster for ambulatory operation. Push button Start/Test Switch, with 2 screwdriver-adjustable rotary rate switches. Uses one 9-volt alkaline battery. Used for very small infusions over long durations, usually 24-48 hours.

Medis Infusa Syringe Pumps
Medis Infusa D.SLT and
Medis Infusa-T
With Graseby infusion pumps unavailable for a time in the United States, distributor Marcal Medical began offering the Medis Infusa pumps as a viable alternative to the MS16A and MS26. Similar in size and operation to the Graseby pumps, Medis syringe pumps also deliver in units of mm. of syringe travel per hour. The Infusa-D.SLT also incorporates a bolus button which delivers 0.23 mm of length. Runs on one 9-volt battery.
However, with the reintroduction of the Graseby line late in 1999, Marcal has decided to remain behind the Graseby line and will eventually discontinue distribution of the Medis Infusa-T, although they will support service for the Infusa when required.
