McGaw (Becton-Dickinson) 360
Syringe Infusor Features: Continuous intravenous infusion rates up to 360 mL/hr, depending upon syringe size; Water-resistant plastic case; can be hung on a pole or use optional pole mount; can be used as primary infusor or can deliver downstream secondary piggyback infusions. Variable time setting using digital controls; LCD display shows time remaining; uses 4 C-cells. | B. Braun Perfusor
Comes in 2 versions, the Perfusor Basic (shown at right), which has identical specifications to the discontinued McGaw 360 Syringe Infusor (above), except that it now can be programmed in 2.5 minute intervals instead of the 10 minute intervals used by the McGaw 360. Also has automatic syringe size reader. The larger (3.6 lbs. vs the 2.0 lbs of the Basic) Perfusor Compact S pump has a different selection of flow rates (0.01 to 200.0 ml/hr.), has a rechargeable internal NiCad battery (60 hour life and 16 hour recharge time) and an AC connector, with an an optional 12V connection for use in ambulances. The Perfusor Compact S also can provide bolus infusions with a variable rate of 1 to 1,200 ml/hour, and has an improved accuracy of ±2.5%.
