Baxter (Autosyringe) Syringe Pumps

Autosyringe Pumps, now manufactured by Baxter, are ambulatory syringe pumps with detachable pole clamps, housed in plastic water-resistant cases. They use digital input with LCD displays and include an AC charger for the recharge of the internal NiCad battery and an adapter for use with small syringes (1-3 ml). The family of Autosyringe pumps includes the AS20S, for continuous delivery, AS20A (similar to AS20S but includes intermittent program capability), and the AS20GH-2, which can be programmed in mcg/kg/minute or mcg/minute, eliminating the need for conversion tables; the AS20GH-2 is also capable of delivering a programmed bolus dose; it only accepts 60 ml syringes. Also available from Baxter is the AS40 series of pumps, an updated version of the AS20 series, and the AS50 series, which replaces the AS40 series.
