AVI 280 RT (Rate/Taper)

This pump operates in either a standard rate/volume mode similar to the 200A, or in the Rate/Taper mode, in which the keypad accepts maximum infusion rate and total volume infused information for TPN infusions; the pump calculates the proper taper-up, taper-down, and maintenance level delivery time periods. It requires the newer "8C"-prefix administration sets with automatic free-flow protection clips. Manufacture of this pump has been discontinued, but service is still supported.

Rate Parameters: Standard mode: 1 - 999 ml/hr in 1 ml increments
Rate Taper mode: 10 - 400 ml/hr in 1 ml increments
Volume Parameters: 1 - 9999 ml in 1 ml increments
Battery capacity: Approx. 8 hours at 125 ml/hr.
Battery recharge: 14 hours, no operation; 24 hours operating at 125 ml/hr.
Memory: Indefinitely stores all settings in memory when pump is shut off. If pump is shut off before a rate/taper program is finished, it will continue the infusion at the exact point where it left off when next turned on, unless cleared and restarted.
Accuracy: +/- 2%
KVO: 1 ml/hr.
